NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT: WHAT'S THE DEAL?

There’s no bigger blessing than introducing a new baby into the family. If you’re becoming a parent, preparing for the birth of a child is a magical and blissful experience. We assure you that whilst you relax Nicola and team work their magic to create incredible images of your baby’s first days. Booking a new born art photo shoot is the perfect way to celebrate and get amazing images to cherish for years to come.

We carefully wrap and swaddle the baby into cute little poses, transitioning around a variety of props. This is done safely whilst  baby is very sleepy. During the session there is plenty of time to feed, change and settle. If your baby is older we can still offer a new born style shoot, with soft knits and textures, but we use different techniques and sets, giving amazing results.

WHEN TO BOOK

Ideally you should contact us after your 12 week scan to book using your due date. During the early days and up to 21 days of life, babies are more likely to settle easier after a feed and can be placed carefully in poses which is not possible when they grow. 

DURING THE SESSION

Our professional photographers take time to consult with you to select the colours for your shoot, from naturals, monochromes, pastels and bold mean we have styles to all tastes. Our specially trained team are first aid trained and skilled in using  props, wraps and items designed for a new born shoot. The session is ‘baby led’ giving plenty time for feeding, settling and changing.
